Question
The Frenchies haven't beaten us in a long time - since that controversial "offsides" call brought back a blocked punt returned for a TD. What year was that?:

Oh, so I guess there is no way to sort by thread start date.

Why would you want to do that? Sorting by last post time keeps relevant/active threads at the top of the board and all but eliminates re-posts. On a discussion oriented board like this one, that is exactly what you want. You should never really have to look past the first page of topics to find new or relevant posts on which to comment by sorting this way.

Not that I am aware of ... I can look to see if there is an add-in.

Something you may want to try is the "View unread posts" button. It lets you see only those threads you have not read since the last time someone posted and if you click on the little icon of an arrow pointing to a page (to the left of the thread title) it takes you straight to the first unread post.

search.php?search_id=unreadposts

Maybe I'm missing something, but the order looks correct in that screenshot. It's reverse by last post time, not thread start date. In other words, if there is a megathread that was opened six months ago and people are constantly chiming in on, that would be sorted above one that was opened yesterday, but got no replies.

Can you include a screenshot of the board that is displaying incorrectly? (If it's too big to upload here, you can use http://brinkelys.org/users/tsl )

I don't know - it looks right to me. Are you on Tapatalk or a browser?

I think that this "Display topics from previous ..." control at the bottom of each forum overrides whatever is on your display options. Can you check and make sure that it is right?

I've got the default order of topics set to the date they were Post Time/Descending in Board Options, but it seems to be in a random order or showing topics with recent replies. Any clues on how to get this order to be consistent?
