Re: Russia can’t even defend their borders at this point.
Did you think that was a real photo of DC? Do you want to see some real ones, or is your position that cities didn’t burn in our recent summer of love? Google is your friend My position is that specific photo was obviously fake and if you had a good point, you should back it up with evidence from r...

The country with a Jewish president? Are you denying the story you debated in the other thread about Western report….propagandists asking Ukrainian soldiers to remove Nazi insignia? Are there nazis in Ukraine? Almost certainly. There are nazis in the us too. But existence of a small number of nazis...

5 min every week or two vs. 30 min a few times a year when you travel over 300 miles. EV drivers probably spend less time charging on the road than the average ICE drive does at gas stations.

Re: Musk keeps changing the “rules”
You seem to be buying in to the leftrage that Musk is the debil. I don’t think he’s the devil. I just think he let his ego wrote a $44 billion dollar check for something he’s not really qualified to run. I'd suggest that running the world's largest bulletin board is a lot simpler than any dozen or ...

Re: Daylight Saving Time - yay or nay?
Yay. Almost everyone thinks changing the clocks is bad because it annoys us for the 2 weekends a year when we have to do it and we don't notice the benefit the remainder of the year. Permanent daylight savings was tried and people hated it: https://www.washingtonpost.com/history/2022/03/18/daylight-...

Any of y’all have a Blackstone griddle grill. Thinking about getting one. Darn near caused a house fire last night with a massive grease flair up on my regular gas grill. I bought a 36” last year. I love it. Cooks well and clean up is easy. Prefer it over a grill. Have begun searing steaks on it th...

Re: Makita battery powered self-propelled lawn mower review.
I've had a greenworks for a few years now. I've found that wet or long grass can cut how long the battery lasts in half, but my yard is half the size of yours so it's never been a problem - usually finish with just 1 250 Wh battery, sometimes need the second. I keep the batteries fully charged betwe...

I'm being serious w/ this question. Anyone know? This article gives a little more detail: https://www.npr.org/2021/02/28/972272178/virginia-lawmakers-sign-off-on-bill-legalizing-recreational-marijuana The legislation would legalize the use of cannabis by people over the age of 21 starting in 2024, ...

Re: Interesting article re climate change
I'm at work, so can't look at all the articles (just yet). Can you point out for me the math where Am Thinker multiplied twice? What did they multiply twice? Thanks! :D The formula here is Amount of gas emitted X its relative ability to retain heat = it's impact in climate change, expressed as CO2 ...

Re: Interesting article re climate change
I assume the huge misdirect is your way of agreeing the American Thinker article is inaccurate and not interesting? Why, yes they do make mistakes with simple math. NASA lost its $125-million Mars Climate Orbiter because spacecraft engineers failed to convert from English to metric measurements when...

This is a perfect example of motivated reasoning... You accept one article by the America Thinker at face value over the entire body of work in climate change. Why wouldn't you scrutinize something that contradicts the consensus for even a minute before deciding it was "interesting"? The p...

Right ViperBoy, he said the 3 mask recommendation isn't science and was CNBC taking him out of context. With humility and mercy, you could have just agreed with me and infowars instead of trying to spin facts into an argument born of your arrogance and rage. Vipers lay in wait to strike out of fear...

https://www.infowars.com/posts/experts-now-say-americans-should-wear-three-masks/ The researchers from VT, Gandhi and Marr, are not recommending people wear 3 masks. That is a a misrepresentation by CNBC, Inforwars, and others. They have studied the efficacy of different kinds of masks and recommen...

Re: CNN vs Elon Musk
Musk is a real life tony stark. He is > Steve Jobs. At the same time, he is killing it with Tesla and spacex, but he has been a little whacky in the last couple months. Lots of people use the Tony Stark comparison, but a even better fit is a real life Willy Wonka. He certainly makes some questionab...

Coming to a city near you? https://federalnewsnetwork.com/government-news/2019/11/1-person-1-vote-maybe-not-nyc-mulls-ranked-choice-voting/ It's a better system. Not exactly sure how it works, but I'm in for 2018. not sure what you had before but that is not high deductible, that is lower to standard these days. A true high deductible plan has like a 7,500 or higher deductible with a higher max out of pocket, for those of us that do not go to the doctor muc...

Maine's Ranked Choice Voting Initiative
This may be the most important vote this November. https://ballotpedia.org/Maine_Ranked_Choice_Voting_Initiative,_Question_5_(2016) If it passes in Maine, and gains traction in other states, it has the potential of disrupting the two-party system. It would remove the "you're throwing away your ...

Re: Meanwhile, one candidate is actually addressing the real
If Clinton is the threat, there is now only one candidate who can beat her...and it is not Trump. He is toast. This event very well could have tanked Trump, but electing Johnson or Clinton achieves the same result: One-party (democrat) rule. Both support doubling down on Obama's immigration and amn...
