Because it's stupid? If you want to keep refugees from coming in, then legislate that. But, doing it by religion, really? As if you can actually figure out which religion someone is.
And when you look at the list of people being arrested, most are not of middle eastern descent. The refugees they mentioned as being arrested were Yugoslavian...trying to make a buck.

Cruz is awesome. And no, we're not good at sniffing them out. At least the smart ones, we are great at getting the idiotic ones. No so good with ones displaying average intelligence or that can contain their enthusiasm for death.

Religion is the basis they're persecuted. Seems super reasonable to judge asylum on that too.
