Do you honestly believe the current Justice Department will indict her?

I don't think they'll have a choice as the info released is from an FBI investigation. They'll be blood spilled if they don't act.

I think they're going to (try to) stall an indictment until after November and then bank on Obama pardoning her before the inauguration. I can only imagine what the political price tag for that "favor" is going to cost the Clintons.

I agree, though I've been surprised before.

Here's the question: What would be the bigger scandal?

A. No indictment; or,
B. Indictment right after the November election.

Elizabeth Warren as VP. Though it plays out as Hillary creates a beach head only to be indicted or impeached if your scenario plays out. Then Warren is president, as Obama wants.

There will be years of legal wrangling only to have her acknowledge no wrong-doing with a smack on the wrist for some minor documentation error that will have no criminal penalty attached.

Any threat of indictment by the Obama DOJ will only be used as a negotiation tactic to get something from Hillary in return.

A testament to how corrupt our government is.

That's a very interesting thought. Obama gets to pick his successor in exchange for no charges. Hmm.

FWIW, from what I've heard, the intel agencies are ready to go to war over this issue if DOJ doesn't file charges. Is it true? I dunno.

Actually it's more of an integrity issue to them. They are saying the facts are the facts, and if they point to indictment then that is what should occur. Keep in mind that 95%+ of the employees at FBI, CIA, etc. are just people doing their job as best they can with no agenda. And they don't like being ridiculed for things they have no control over.

It's refreshing to hear integrity matters. Not a lot of that in evidence lately. At the FBI, at the CIA, at Homeland, at the IRS, at Justice, at State, at the White House...

Nah, they're people too. And of the same standards as your typical Washingtonite upset over their peps being treated harshly. Obama stepped on the wrong shoes.

Me too. I've worked with them as well and it's all talk. Just look how these men of integrity behaved at the SS with prostitutes and drunken parties. They have a schtick around integrity, but they're just like everyone else.

I understand why yall are super cynical of justice being served. I agree that all the reasons to be cynical exist and are generally valid. But at the end of the day, if Hillary escapes prosecution then we're no longer a nation of laws. Even in the climate of party first, political hacks running the DOJ and Obama party, I don't think even they could get away with doing nothing over this security breach. To do so would completely undermine our form of government. Even if that's Obama's goal, the nation isn't close to accepting that. Especially if Clinton Foundation corruption is part of the charges as well. The nation will split over it, likely ending in violence against the people involved. I don't think it's something even Obama and Bill Clinton could get away with. They're dead to rights and even "depending what the definition of is is" won't save them. There's no ambiguity in what they're caught with in the form of national secrets. They're on her email server and so it's a matter of fact without wiggle room.

She'd have been in jail years ago if we were still a nation of laws, not men.

Sorry about posting a received email, but this one makes a lot of sense.

I have been trying to figure out how they were going to ditch Hillary who they hate and Bernie who can only win radical Dems.
We think the Repubs are shady.
The Dems are worse.
Obama wants Hillary indicted.
They want her to be the nominee first though.
If she gets indicted, before the primary, the DNC will never give their nomination to Sanders. He is too openly commie to win the general election, when it's not just Dems voting for party pick.
They have to wait until she is the nominee.
Then when she gets indicted, they have no nominee anymore.. They have to go to a contested convention.
That's when they put Biden/Warren in.
Neither even has to campaign, spend a dollar, or get bruised in a long primary. No gaffs by Biden, or time to question all Warren's socialistic ideology & lies.
Obama gets to keep his deal with Clinton that he would help her succeed him, by copping out, saying it's out of his hands.
The radicals are rid of Hillary for good.
Warren will be Biden's handler, just as Valerie is O's.
Biden will tow the line and continue the fundamental transformation Obama started.
All the Bernie supporters love Warren even more than Bernie, so they will transition over.
It's devious & brilliant.
We lived through Obama, you'll live through Trump
