Looks like trump is taking Iowa and NH.
So it looks like trump takes Iowa and NH. Does his schtick play in the Southeast? How do you guys on the right feel about this?
Re: Looks like trump is taking Iowa and NH.
He's not particularly conservative who appeals to the low infos, but even if he wins those two states, I see the grown-ups within the party converging to back an alternative candidate to prevent a Trump nomination.ElbertoHokie wrote:So it looks like trump takes Iowa and NH. Fully vaccinated, still not dead

So it looks like Sanders will take Iowa and New Hampshire. Does his schtick play in a national election? How do you guys backing the Clinton feel about this?ElbertoHokie wrote:So it looks like trump takes Iowa and NH. Does his schtick play in the Southeast? How do you guys on the right feel about this?

Sanders will take NH for sure. Iowa who knows? I doubts the Dems will run a socialist... if they do it will be at their peril.
Much like if the GOP runs Trump.
There is a nightmare ticket for you:
Trump/Palin vs. Sanders/Pelosi
Oh Canada...

Clinton is looking like she'll take Iowa over Sanders. On the democrat side, there's many less voters who are angry about everything than there are on the right. There's still angry people, but after 8 years of Obama, less so on the left. That favors Clinton.
I think Clinton can win nationally, I don't think Sanders can. I don't like either of them. I think a possibility of Bloomberg entering the race would really shake things up. I know where he stands on guns, but I don't know the rest of his "platform."
I'll be interested to see if Trump tries to go more mainstream if we wins both Iowa and NH. He'll be tough to topple if he does. His standings with moderates is very poor right now and he can't win a general if he stays where he is in the polling.
My uncle buys the false flag theory. Thinks Trump is running at the behest of democrats. Everyone is getting paranoid.

Good post. If the Dems planted Trump... well, two thoughts come right to mind:ElbertoHokie wrote:Clinton is looking like she'll take Iowa and NH over Sanders. 1) Incredibly sleazy thing to do.
2) Genius! LOL

O'Malley is making a strong run in Iowa with this demographic. Could propel him to victory?

I think Cruz will show better than expected in Iowa. Following Iowa & NH, I'm hoping to see about 37 of the 48 R primary candidates drop out.
So I put (the dead dog) on her doorstep!

O'Malley is a lightweight right now. The GOP would destroy him.miles wrote:O'Malley is making a strong run in Iowa with this demographic. Could propel him to victory?

I agree about Cruz in IA. There are really only 5 or 6 now worth paying attention to... Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Bush, Christie... with Kasich on the bubble.RiverguyVT wrote:I think Cruz will show better than expected in Iowa. We agree on more then you think. It's just your nutso stance on certain things that I disagree with.VoiceOfReason wrote:See? Cool... I look forward to solving problems with you then... while most of these dunderheads blame liberals for everything that's wrong in their miserable lives133743Hokie wrote:We agree on more then you think.
