Yep. We live in a country where people are clearly above the law. This pretty much destroys one of the great founding principles of the United States.

But when you have a country where people in the political class can commit crimes and not be held accountable, you pretty much have a banana Republic. The next thing you'll see is the Democrat Party candidate getting 99% of the votes in Presidential elections.
