Rather than address the real problems creating the atmosphere of ignorance and failure in West Philly, liberal politicians and irresponsible school district administrators decided it was the building that was the problem. If you provided these West Philly scholars with an ultra-modern facility of higher learning, they would surely thrive and become smart. So, they took $66 million from the $800 billion Obama porkulus plan and built a 170,000 square foot Shangri-la, with 3 levels, dozens of modern high tech classrooms, two gyms, and science labs to promote their Hybrid X automotive program to create fuel-efficient cars. The building was designed to focus on three West Philadelphia High School academies: urban leadership, creative and performing arts, and business technology.

that is a great article showing the issues with the big cities and throwing money at issues.

for those that say crime is down, how come every time I read articles on cities murders are up, crime is up, heck in charlotte robbery/burglary/car theft type is up by like 19% last figure I heard
