I watch a lot of Discovery ID.....
There have been two different series that have had murder cases involving "transgender"(mentally ill) guys passing themselves of as women. They were not up front with real men and well.......
What is stunning to watch is the interviews with law enforcement saying "oh, she was a beautiful girl"......etc.. Uh, it wasn't a girl and could never be a girl. And unfortunately, that's what got them killed.

I saw one of those episodes. What is weird is the one I saw took place in San Francisco where I thought everyone is supposed to be tolerant and accepting of that type of thing.HokieHam wrote:There have been two different series that have had murder cases involving "transgender"(mentally ill) guys passing themselves of as women. The guy (pretending to be a girl) seduced 2 men into having anal (said he could not have normal sex due to being on his period). The guys started comparing notes and finally figure out that she was a he. They ended up killing him - which of course he did not deserve, but there should be some sort of crime (rape?) if a man pretends to be a woman and tricks another man into having sex under false pretenses.

It's not a single program. It's a Discovery channel. It focuses on crime. Another interesting aspect of some of these crimes is how innocent people get railroaded by overzealous prosecutors. As a lawyer, you might be interested........ip_law-hokie wrote:I see that this program has at least two followers.

I remember.....this is years ago.......a morning show at 96x in Hampton Roads did a promotion and they had some guy kiss this hot......girl........then they told the dude he was a she. He WENT OFF!
I can see how someone would flip out and if they are someone predisposed to anger and violence, it can be a bad situation.....that leads to death.

On one, she faked her own murder.
On another, she was attacked by a swamp monster.
So I put (the dead dog) on her doorstep!

This confirms my suspicion that the TLC & the Discovery Channel is the modern day carnival freak show.HokieHam wrote:It's not a single program. It's a Discovery channel. It focuses on crime.
