Nope. Nope. Nolan assured us it was because of the "election" and not his ace Kaepernick

Correct. An immaterial number of fans stopped watching games because of Kaepernick. The NFL ratings went back up after the election.CFB Apologist wrote:Nope. Nope. Nolan assured us it was because of the "election" and not his ace Kaepernick

With their Cap’n and Chief Intelligence Officer having deserted them, River, Ham and Joe valiantly continue their whataboutismistic last stand of the DJT apology tour.

Well yes but the later season games (after November 1st) were still down 5% from the previous year and that was because of an uptick in weeks 13 & 14 and then the #'s went down again during the last regular season games. Leaving an overall 9% decrease. MNF was hit the hardest at -15%.ip_law-hokie wrote:This is correct.

The playoffs also saw a 6% decrease.
As for me I watched all year the AZ Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens.

The NFL has become boring and I find myself watching less and less as the years go by. It's a copycat league with forced equity, players bouncing from team to team. Just one big ho-hum.

Yes, boring. Add in the league's reticence WRT Kapernosis just sealed the deal. I didn't even watch the SB.

Agree. Very little interest in the NFL. In fact, I didn't even watch the superbowl this year.133743Hokie wrote:The NFL has become boring and I find myself watching less and less as the years go by. It's a copycat league with forced equity, players bouncing from team to team. Just one big ho-hum.
