Woman gives horrible advice, gets corrected by an engineer..

Post by USN_Hokie »

....accuses him of "mansplaining" when he explains why.
Has anyone here been accused of "mansplaining"?

I actually have. But, *insert glimmer of hope for society* I actually had another woman approach me afterwards and apologize. Her exact words were "I'm sorry, we're not all like that."

I've flown over much of the Nolan and IP generation. Thankfully, very little interaction with them.

Ayup on several occasions.

My favorite:
I used to give environmental compliance and issues presentations...I was going over the history of environmental regulations at a middle school when an older woman said can we just get to the end of this without all of the man stuff :?:

Man stuff I asked?

She said yes Man stuff...it can't be that hard.

I said OK you come up here and finish the presentation then. She got up and left the room and I didn't see her again.

After the presentation and question & answer period the principle came up to me, shook my hand, said how much she enjoyed the presentation and how the children really enjoyed it.

Then she apologized for the "behavior" of the vice principle. :)
I only post using 100% recycled electrons.
