The father of Las Vegas madman Stephen Paddock was a “psychopath” himself — a bank robber who escaped federal prison in the late 1960s and landed on the FBI’s most-wanted list, according to reports.
Paddock’s dad was serial felon Benjamin Hoskins Paddock, according to the Daily Mail and a tweet from NBC.
Benjamin Paddock had been locked up in 1960 for robbing an Arizona bank, escaped in 1968 and spent nearly three years on the run before the FBI caught up to him in Las Vegas in 1971, at which point he tried to run down an agent with his car, according to archival editions of the Tuscon Daily Citizen.

Funny you mention this, we had friends over for dinner on Saturday and me and the husband in the other couple both said the same thing. We had both come to the conclusion that Facebook and Twitter were net-net bad for society. I think I was happier when I didn't know the stupid political beliefs of everyone I went to high school with.

IMO, That's sort of like going to a nudist camp but telling your friends it's OK because you don't take your clothes off. You're still participating on some level.ip_law-hokie wrote:There is nothing compelling you to share every detail of your life. Agreed. The only positive is that most of my high school and college friends don't post their political crap on FB. A few do, but few enough it's eager to ignore.
Now, some of the lefty NJs I'm friends with in LA...different story.

I don't care if you're a Democrat or a Republican... if you refuse to consider alternatives to the two parties, you support the Status Quo and you are a major part of the problem.
