I did a double-take ... Geftman is her husband's name and Gold is her mother-in-law's name??? http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/28/fashi ... ttman.html
That seems ... weird.

I think she is clearly garbage. Hyphenated garbage at that. Sanctimonious, self righteous and probably for peace love and understanding.
Most of the time.
But i have a concern about firing people for free speech that is not work related. I am not denying or contesting the company's right to fire her, but if we extend this to someone who doesn't like camel jockeys and he's an billing clerk in the basement of a store in moose butt wyoming, who made a face book post about his feelings about snakes....should he be fired?
They are not the same but socialists and idiots will equate the two. One is a high profile job that can cost the company money and credibility. The other is a virtually anonymous person making his feelings known in a public forum. His boss may know of the post, but if the public does not connect the employee to the post, should he be dismissed for what he believes....or only if it impacts the company?
One has financial implications for the company. The other likely does not.
Idiots will pronounce them as identical and both should be dismissed.
I dunno.

This wasn't reasonable political speech. She made her employer look bad. That's why she should get fired.oaktonhokie wrote:I think she is clearly garbage. Hyphenated garbage at that. Sanctimonious, self righteous and probably for peace love and understanding.

With their Cap’n and Chief Intelligence Officer having deserted them, River, Ham and Joe valiantly continue their whataboutismistic last stand of the DJT apology tour.
