Anthem may restrict where you get MRIs and CT scans

In addition, besides losing your preference, trouble is, hospitals nearly always have better equipment, higher resolution, but what do they care?

MRIs and CTs are typically not "read" by the technicians or at the site where taken. They are transmitted to the specific doctor that ordered the scan. So why is this a bad thing? Why go to a hospital for a non-emergency MRI if there is one available in the medical office park next door? This is much ado about nothing -- again.
