According to Rep. Matt Gaetz from Florida that is what he "heard" Sessions say in a meeting back in September but none of the other congressfolks there don't recall him saying that.

I believe he has stated in the past he would not go after Hillary for anything. He's essentially a self-neutered spineless guy who still thinks he's a senator upholding the high standards of the senate. He won't do anything that his august senate brethren would disapprove of. He has yet to show he has the leadership skills or the guts to be AG.

on crime issues around the country he has, as for the special prosecutor and the hillary stuff he is being an idiot

Sessions is a perfect encapsulation of why Republicans running the nice dignified guy is always a loosing proposition. Liberals never play by the same rules and will use your principles against you every time. Trump might be a complete asshole, but he's our asshole and he keeps his promises (knock on wood).
