LOL! Exactly. Democrats love them some former Republican Presidents - especially the ones that come out strong as members of the establishment. They even like some current non-President establishment Republicans like McCain and Flake that pretend to be Republicans but act like Democrats.

Of course these same Democrats believed that these same ex-President Republicans were there devil incarnate while they were in office, and did not march in lock-step with every crazy Democrat idea.

My respect for him has increased since leaving Office. Him putting country over party is admirable here, but it’s not the sole reason.
