I have no feel for this game. Not good. Not bad. Just no gut feeling at all.Hokie5150 wrote:I wish I had a better feeling about this game...
Yeah.......the team is a MASH unit right now.....Hokie5150 wrote:I wish I had a better feeling about this game...

Yep...I'd love to know what caused the change in JJ's play. He is definitely not showing the same level confidence he had earlier in the season. I really like the kid, though, and think he has to tools to be a high caliber player. I would have loved to see what he could have done in last year's offense. He really doesn't have a lot of weapons around him at the moment...lot's of potential, though. Next year's QB battle should be fun to watch. Despite the stumbles this year, the future looks bright.BG Hokie wrote:We're definitely banged up. I think we're going to have to let our hair down on offense a bit and take some chances. Hopefully JJ is feeling good and ready to play more like himself from the beginning half of the season.
One plus should be the "home field advantage"...I fully expect there to be more Tech fans than Wahoos tonight.UpstateSCHokie wrote:The injuries are really starting to pile up according to TSL & other Tech sites. I'm starting to get the feeling that there are just too many holes to plug and it will be too much to overcome tonight. Sure hope I'm wrong, but the streak has to end eventually. Hokies with a huge number of missing starters + a UVA full of seniors is not a recipe for success. However, if we do win, it will be one of the sweetest victories of the last 13 years given everything we're up against.
I'm not sure how we are still favored by 7, but if I were an uninterested observer, I would think long & hard about putting some money down on Hoos.
I know your post is somewhat TIC, but this will be more like a neutral site game. The only advantage we might have is that our fans will be louder, but that's only if we jump on them early.Hokie5150 wrote:One plus should be the "home field advantage"...I fully expect there to be more Tech fans than Wahoos tonight.UpstateSCHokie wrote:The injuries are really starting to pile up according to TSL & other Tech sites. Virginia’s last possession set the game of football back 40 years. They should decline their bowl invitation for that performance.awesome guy wrote:Why does their QB have a Care Bear tattoo?
