I am not sure tv networks making bad decisions is an example of how great the nfl is doing these days. Have you seen what they put on tv these days, and yeah, ESPN is doing so great they are firing all high earners and canning a ton of other folksTheH2 wrote:https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles ... t-footballNetwork bids tops $45 million per game CBS, NBC paid last year
That's not fair cwtcr. You are what your record says you are, and NFL teams are on pace to increase the record profits that they already share every year.cwtcr hokie wrote:I am not sure tv networks making bad decisions is an example of how great the nfl is doing these days. so ESPN cutting costs like crazy was fake news? or that the networks are having to give away ad time to meet the obligations required of this years ad buys?ip_law-hokie wrote:That's not fair cwtcr. I'll guarantee that they got guarantees on top of expanded ad time. The NFL may have promised to end the kneeling and other unAmerican activities that are driving the ratings collapse. Fox isn't stupid and there is more to this than just dollars.
