minor quibble:It is true that Native Americans’ ancestors migrated to the lands that became known as the Americas many thousands of years before Europeans began migrating here. But it is complete fiction that the descendants of the migrants who first inhabited lands in the Americas lived in perfect peace and harmony until European explorers and colonizers arrived. It is not true that these white Europeans were the first people to slaughter Native Americans, forcibly remove them from their ancestral lands, and enslave them. Nor is it true that white Americans were the only people in America who engaged in such appalling practices after the United States became an independent nation.
One of our own soils scientists found irrefutable evidence that men had settled on the banks of the Nottoway River not too far from where I-95 crosses it today. (Google- Pre Covid Man Cactus Hill). Upon studying the 15,000 year old pottery shards there, it was determined that the shards matched exactly shards found in modern-day Spain (west Europe) of the same age.
So, couldn't it be said that Europeans were here before the crew that migrated across the Bering Straits (by 10,000 years no less)? Our aboriginals were European. ...Even if their knuckes dragged and they knew nothing of proper cutlery arrangement when fine dining.
