Masters Of The Air ?

The man who taught me trigonometry rode in the back of a bomber in Europe doing trig (bomb drop figurin’) under fire and in turbulence using a golf pencil and small pad

So far, not nearly as good as Band of Brothers was, nor even The Pacific.

Still. Brings to mind just how hellish that war was. Battle scenes (er, bombing scenes) are pretty intense.
