According to COPA, police stopped Reed “for purportedly not wearing a seatbelt.” In several body-cam videos, multiple officers can be seen exiting an unmarked vehicle and surrounding Reed’s car, which had tinted windows.

I assume that the "not wearing a seatbelt" thing was just a pretense and that they really wanted him for something worse? Who in the world has multiple cars with plain-clothes officers pull someone over for a seatbelt violation???

A Dallas County grand jury in November declined to indict any of the hospital cops or medical workers in connection with the incident.
