Physicals Monday and Wednesday with my doctors...
Primary Care Doc is in Emory, VA...specialist is in Winston-Salem (I lost my local specialist)...we're going to try going through my primary with remote access to the Doc in W-S.
Lab work was Tuesday follow up yesterday...results of the labs weren't ready yesterday but received late this morning...everything looked good...need to lose about 25 lbs. Diabetes under control A1C 6.4.
My shaking cocktail was increased. The Cymbalta is now generic ,and cheaper, stayed the same dosage. My Mirapex (also generic) was doubled to control the tremors and shaking. We'll see.
I was very upset that I lost my specialist down in JC...yesterday the medical pro in W-S was actually a PA but works with the specialist. I really have no choice though and if it cuts back on ¼ trips to W-S then Otay.

Thanks guys.
B_A_H you ask an interesting question.
I took early retirement when I was 50 and am doing well financially after some pretty wise investments while I was working (quite a bit in remote areas). For me Medicare would kick in 6 years.
Interesting enough I've been told that if I wanted to I could apply and receive disability. Under the rules since I was diagnosed with Parkinson's over 2 years ago I would be eligible for Medicare immediately...it sounds tempting but nah.

The pramipexole is great and paired with duloxetine had really helped...I still get tremors but as long as I take my Rx I'm fine...however let me be a couple of hours late and it's Veteran of the Psychic Wars time.

Re: Physicals Monday and Wednesday with my doctors...
I saw an amazing thing WRT Parkinson's. A business associate in San Francisco was really getting bad - a few years ago when I saw him, he was almost at the point he couldn't walk. It was bad, my colleague and I were really worried for him - we were just having some beers down at this dive bar on the bay (I think the place is called The Ramp or something like that?) and he really couldn't get around.
Well, about a year later, I was out that way and my colleague suggested we stop and see him. Wasn't sure that was such a great idea, but he is a pretty great guy, so we did. Met him at that same bar, he stood up, walked around, looked perfectly normal. Didn't really want to directly ask him what was going on, but the topic came around to it (of course) and I told him he looked great, and he said "yeah, I'm cured".
Apparently, he has some sort of electrical device that cancels out what's going on with the Parkinson's. He had a couple of electrodes implanted, and apparently has to periodically go and get the device "tuned" by the doctor. He said when that tuning takes place, it goes from severe shaking to kind of a stupor, but between there is perfectly fine. Said he got on a plane and went to Europe to see his son get married, travels around, works, drinks beers, etc., basically no issues.
By the way, there has been a lot of Parkinson's research done in Blacksburg. Neal Castagnoli in Chemistry is pretty well known in the field...

I think they have her on a better combo of meds now, as she is less shakey.
