ABC recently imposed a stupid 8 day wait for online access

to its TV shows, that is unless you have cable. So it penalizes those without cable. Since it made the move a couple weeks ago, piracy of its shows have gone up 300%.

So ... in summary, ABC, instead of allowing people to watch their shows online with commercials, has chosen to remove availability ... unless you have cable, thus forcing many to simply download the show and watch it commercial free.

yep, or you can buy the show, fox did that awhile back but it is all moving to the everything pay per view model that everyone is trying to get to.
