For Christmas I got my grandnephew a Crosman BB/Pellet gun (Pumpmaster 760). I had a Crosman pump as a kid so I got him one. We still have it but the pumping mechanism is hosed.
The biggest difference was mine came from Sears and was metal...this one came from Amazon and is plastic...still shoots well though.
My nephew, his uncle, has been teaching him how to handle a gun and shoot (probably nobody better). He knows I'm more partial to pistols than rifles so he got me (I'm sure it was my niece) a Beretta Air Soft pistol with a pack of plastic BB's so when I come over we can all shoot together like we do when my nephew and I shoot.

I never had a Red Ryder rifle, actually the funny thing is my first gun was a Savage .22 mag/.410 over/under the Crosman pump came a couple of years later.Bay_area_Hokie wrote:I quickly matriculated from Daisy RedRyder to Crossman 10 pump...
