What did we have, over 100 yards in penalties? Team looked completely unprepared. In other words, a typical Beamer coached bowl (big game) team. :x

It wasn't a big game. The result wasn't surprising.

Yeah I was expecting a Stanfordish type of game and that is how it ended but we did hang in there for 3Q's.

I hated to see LT go out like that and I have absolutely no explanation for the whiff/arm/ole tackling.

It was a big enough game that one team came prepared to play...

It was sad and it was predictable.

The fact that it was predictable, makes it sadder still.

Were we unprepared on offense or defense? If you say offense, I don't know how you can tell. Looks like the same mess as the whole season. If you say defense, then I'll say we may have quit in the end once we had no chance. It was only 14-7 at halftime.

Why would a Beamer-coached team be prepared for a bowl game? :D

In what aspects of the game to you feel we looked prepared?

what I meant was bowl games and/or big games. And yeah, when you play a ranked BCS team from another conference in a bowl game on national TV, its a big game.

I tell y'all though the Sun Bowl coming out party for Allie LaForce was well worth watching of the game.

Big for who? The players. I doubt it. Conference games are much bigger.

She's a dish. No question.

Didn't like her initial suck up to the guys in the booth, something like, "It's an honor to work with someone of your stature."

Ok.

She provided some good info on the injuries. And if you have to have a sideline reporter asking insipid questions to a coach who would rather have a root canal than answer dopey questions from a sideline "reporter," she'll do.

A bit too earnest for my tastes. A bet megan Kelley-ish.

This grammar cop cites you for good behavior; and, proper use of parentheses. 8-)

Other teams should pay us money to play them in big games...we're a highlight reel machine for them.

I certainly relate to everyone's Post Bowl Game Hokie Blues, but we had diddly squat to work with on offense. Yes, the offense has sucked this year (like almost every other year), but we weren't really out of this game until LT/CK went out. We may still have lost with them in the game, but it wouldn't have been the drubbing we all lamentably witnessed. We've had the luxury of talented athletes at RB/QB for a long time, but the cupboard is just bare right now. Sows ears, silk purses, and all that.

Yes, the D has definitely had better games, but we aren't the same team without Fuller and Exum playing.
