The game means something to them. They haven't been there before.

Don't worry - Jesse is here to put a damper on the conference's feel-good story of the year: http://chat.virginiatech.sportswar.com/ ... /59431.php

I guess there isn't enough misery from our own bowl performance so he needs to create misery from Duke's as well.

Watching this Duke game is fun, but also depressing. We have no where near the talent and weapons on offense that these teams have. We seriously have to get a great Qb if we are ever going to be good again. LT, while a fine young man, couldn't consistently pass the ball. We need someone who throws darts.

Anyone else notice that on Johnny's TD to pull within a FG, he grabbed the Duke defender's jersey? I assume he was trying to pull the Duke guy into himself to make it look like a late hit and draw a penalty.

I only noticed on the replay, but u r correct. That shows is brain is 100% focused on nothing but football. He is an unusual character.

Duke scored a lot against every team they played except one (VT), and scored more against A&M than every team except one (Alabama).
