Remember those racial slurs at the Air Force Academy? Not so much.

Re: In the "news that shocks no one" category....
I was just about to post the same thing.
It was a huge deal when it was thought to be racism. Hey general, it's still racism.
You made a big deal of this when you thought it was a white guy. You talked about honor, tolerance, and respect. Can we expect another speech from you? Or will you do what all government bureaucrats do and and cover this up and pretend it didn't happen?
Why not make an example of the piece of garbage who did this? Why not expose racism on both sides?
Never mind, we know the answer.
At the end of the article it talks about the huge amount of coverage it got initially. But like all socialist propaganda, when the truth is revealed, when errors are discovered, a minor footnote if anything at all explaining the, "error. "

The student in question is being kicked out, right? That's what's supposed to happen, isn't it?
I don't care if you're a Democrat or a Republican... if you refuse to consider alternatives to the two parties, you support the Status Quo and you are a major part of the problem.

In other news that shocks no one. Evan McMullin claims Ed Guillespe is a "white nationalist." This is almost as believable as Mitt Romney was an evil racist as he was portrayed in 2012.

There should be front page admission that it was another lie about racism, perpetrated by a black.Hokie CPA wrote:I was just making sure. No, it should not be the end of it.
Why wasn't he identified?
Why wasn't he made an example?
What about others who knew or aided and abetted?
The story i read, not the washington post said it was not stated whether he left on his own or was expelled.
My guess is that he left quietly, maybe or maybe not with a slight blemish on his record. No sense making an issue of this. It was just a prank according to the article i read. Not the washington post.
Is this going to be treated as if someone wrote FREDDY LOVES JOAN on the cafeteria wall?
This is as big a deal as if it had been actual white racism.
But since it's just a prank....shhhhhh.
I've said before that generals are no longer soldiers, they are politicians. They are bureaucrats, trying to advance their careers. So a HUGE deal was made of this with the big speech and the big talk about respect and tolerance. Blahblahblah.
But it's just a prank. Made you look, april fool.

We attended a tour at the AFA a month ago, my son is applying (humble brag), they mentioned that while they couldn't provide details, the news being reported was not accurate and soon we would find out the facts. I.E., they've known since the beginning that it was BS and have been working on finalizing the investigation and documentation.
Looks like the only thing 1984 got wrong was the date.

He's been to Navy and AF (no interest in Army because he wants to fly) and I keep thinking that the more they talk about the lifestyle, the rigor, the discipline he is going to lose interest. But it seems to excite him. He sees it as a challenge, a way to prove himself and separate those that can from those that can't and he loves that given the way mediocrity is celebrated in HS.Major Kong wrote:Humble brag...meh, but absolutely awesome You betchaVienna_Hokie wrote:We attended a tour at the AFA a month ago, my son is applying (humble brag), they mentioned that while they couldn't provide details, the news being reported was not accurate and soon we would find out the facts.
