Chuck Schumer going down for sexual assualt
Oh, nevermind, it was a fake attack to try and get him fired. As with the Washington Post uncovering the fake story about Roy Moore, the accused can prove their innocence.
The accusers, whoever they are, should be prosecuted to the fullest extent. Maybe they get community service at some non-profit (is Veritas non-profit...?).

Re: Chuck Schumer going down for sexual assualt
How exactly do you prove that something did not happen if it was 4 decades ago or nobody else was around when it allegedly happened? It does not matter though, at this point we are at the point of if an accusation is made it is to be believed 100% even if there is no evidence other than the accusation itself....really stupid, but that is where we are atTheH2 wrote:Oh, nevermind, it was a fake attack to try and get him fired. We aren't. We already had the Washington post refuse to publish a fake story, and here is Chuck Schumer, providing evidence that it was fabricated.cwtcr hokie wrote:How exactly do you prove that something did not happen if it was 4 decades ago or nobody else was around when it allegedly happened? Two concrete examples contradicting your false beliefs.
I think it's great to be skeptical, but you are starting with the assumption that, for example, the company is not looking into the allegations before taking action. This has also been proven false in the two most recent examples, Matt Lauer, and NFL Network.

Schumer's was pretty clear in that he could readily provide evidence that he wasn't where the accusations said he was. Cut and dry. Not so easy with other types of he said she said accusations.TheH2 wrote:We aren't. It's the details that make these hold up, multiple people with similar stories that add up, etc. That's what makes something credible. Again, see Washington Post. They published stories that held up, and didn't publish stories that did not.133743Hokie wrote:Schumer's was pretty clear in that he could readily provide evidence that he wasn't where the accusations said he was. seriously dude, yes some are very easy, something that occurred supposedly 4 decades ago, get effing real. Please answer the question, how do you prove something did not occur when it involves only an accusation where no one else was around? Do you document every movement you make every minute of the day, I sure don'tTheH2 wrote:We aren't. So people don't fabricate details, again, you have to prove it did not happen and many of those details cannot be not proven.... get it?

Nope. They published a fake story about Moore touching a 14 year old. Are you really defending that butt wipe Moore?- I'm not; have you ever defended either butt wipe Clinton? Either the one who laughed about a 12 year old rape victim (the victim was asking for it, I tell you!) or the one who took advantage of a girl much younger than himself than was the age difference between Moore and any of his accusers... have ya?

The same reason 65.8MM voted for Hillary. Some people don’t believe they support a flawed candidate.

Yeah, not buying that details are always the great equalizer in these scenarios. Often, the negative PR alone is enough to hurt someone's career.
I think strict confidentiality should be required in all harassment allegations. If it is ascertained that someone is guilty of stated allegations, then and only then shall information be released. That would eliminate a lot of superficial claims.
