San Francisco 49ers safety Eric Reid surprised even the left-leaning magazine Slate, when he revealed in a controversial interview on Saturday shocking information about the NFL. According to his words, the league intends to use money slated for the “Salute to Service” veterans fund and breast cancer charities to pay for $89 million “social justice” program.

The NFL player assured that the reason why the league is making such horrible move is only to placate protesting players. Given this situation, Reid told the magazine that this donation agreement from league commissioner Roger Goodell: “It’s a charade.”

Naturally, we’re talking about a scandalous situation that clearly reveals not only the NFL’s desperation regarding the anthem protests but also how this institution is willing to do the unthinkable to stop it.
